Astrology

Astrology is a belief system that suggests a relationship between the positions and movements of celestial bodies, such as planets and stars, and events or personality traits on Earth. Practitioners, known as astrologers, interpret the influence of these celestial arrangements on individuals and events, often through the analysis of horoscopes, which are charts that depict the positions of celestial bodies at the time of a person’s birth. Astrology is divided into various branches, including natal astrology (which focuses on the chart of an individual), mundane astrology (which examines world events), and horary astrology (which answers specific questions based on the current celestial configuration). Despite its historical significance and popularity, astrology is regarded as a pseudoscience by the scientific community, as it lacks empirical evidence and the ability to provide testable predictions. Nonetheless, it continues to be a widely followed belief system, influencing cultural practices, personal decision-making, and self-understanding for many.
