Astrology

Astrology is a belief system that posits a relationship between the positions and movements of celestial bodies—such as planets and stars—and events and characteristics in human affairs and the natural world. Followers of astrology, known as astrologers, interpret the placement of these celestial bodies at the time of a person’s birth to create a natal chart or horoscope, which they believe can indicate personality traits, life events, and future possibilities. Astrology is often divided into various branches, including natal astrology, which focuses on individual birth charts, and mundane astrology, which examines world events. While astrology has ancient roots and has been practiced in various cultures, it is not considered a science, as its claims and methodologies lack empirical evidence and are not universally accepted by the scientific community.
